An Ecosystem of Services

Rooted in NZ.
Built for
what's next.

Tawhai Stand is a multi-agent AI operation based in Rotorua. We deploy AI agents for NZ trades, hospitality and growing businesses, handling the research, workflows and operational weight that slow you down.

Not off-the-shelf software. Not a dashboard. A living ecosystem of services, grown around your business and built to act. We run our own company on these exact systems every day: the 6am brief in our Night Watch demo is ours, not a mockup.

"Tawhai: the native NZ beech tree. Stand: a collective, rooted, resilient ecosystem."

What we do
01
Workflow AutomationPick your most repetitive task. We make it run itself. $1,500 fixed.
+
How it works

No more doing the same thing twice. We map your workflow, identify the manual steps, and replace them with a system that runs on its own. One workflow, $1,500 fixed. Multi-workflow packages from $3,800.

In practice

Say your team spends two hours a day chasing unpaid invoices. We build a system that sends the reminders, follows up, and flags the ones that need a human, automatically, every day, without anyone lifting a finger.

02
AI Agent DeploymentA custom AI built for one specific job in your business. $3,000 fixed, and you own it.
+
How it works

Scoped, built, tested, and handed over ready to work. No subscriptions, no ongoing dependency. You own it outright. Advanced builds $6,500.

In practice

Our Quote Builder demo does exactly this: paste in a job description, get a draft quote back in your format and your pricing, review and send. Ask to see it on a call. Twenty minutes of quoting becomes two.

03
Fractional AI OperationsYour part-time AI department, from $1,200/mo. Start with the $500 AI Audit.
+
How it works

You see the results. We handle everything behind the scenes: running, monitoring, and improving your AI every month, with a plain-English report showing what ran, what it saved, and what we're doing next. The $500 AI Audit is the on-ramp: two hours inside your business plus a written report on where AI genuinely pays off, yours to keep either way.

In practice

Most businesses set up AI tools and then let them gather dust. We stay on. Retainers from $1,200/mo, three-month minimum, and every month you get the report in writing.

04
AI Staff TrainingA two-hour hands-on session for up to 10 people. $1,200 flat.
+
How it works

No jargon. No theory. We run your team live over Zoom through the tools that will actually save them time, built around your business and your workflows, not a generic course. One flat price for the whole team, not per head.

In practice

Whether that's writing emails faster, summarising documents, or handling customer questions. Everyone finishes with a cheat sheet built for their specific role. Tools they'll open Monday morning, delivered live over Zoom anywhere in NZ.

05
InFlow: AI Intake + Follow-UpNever miss another job enquiry. $800 setup + $299/mo.
+
How it works

Every web enquiry gets a reply within about a minute, in your voice: their job, their suburb, your availability window. No booking within 24 hours? InFlow follows up for you. You get one clean email per lead: who, what job, where, what's been said. We set it up, run it, and maintain it. No app to learn.

In practice

A customer fills in your contact form at 11am. You're on the tools and see it at 5pm. By then they've called two other outfits, and the job went to whoever replied first. You don't have a marketing problem; you have an 11am problem. InFlow fixes the 11am problem.

06
Verified Research & Fact-CheckAnswers you can defend. Every claim graded and cited to its source. From $500.
+
How it works

AI can write anything. That's exactly the problem. Our system answers only from documents you approve, and every claim comes back graded Confirmed / Corrected / Demoted, cited to the exact file and line. Blind-tested against a hidden answer key: six from six, including the claim that was nearly right.

In practice

Start with the $500 Verified Answers Audit: your own documents, up to 10 claims checked, full evidence ledger. Bigger jobs (a report, a manual, a content batch) from $1,500, or standing verification wired into your pipeline from $1,200/mo.

07
Verified BidWin the tender. Keep every claim in it true. From $950 per bid.
+
How it works

We verify every factual claim in your tender response against your own bid library (service docs, past projects, CVs, certifications, pricing sheets) before it goes out the door. You get a claim-by-claim evidence ledger plus corrected sections, cited to the exact document and line.

In practice

Bids get assembled under deadline pressure from old material: prices that changed, certs that lapsed, timeframes your current crew can't hit. Evaluation panels notice inconsistencies. Start with a $500 Bid Audit on your last submitted bid; live tenders $950–$1,950 by bid size, or a bid-season retainer from $1,500/mo.

08
Night WatchA one-page brief on your business at 6am. $800 setup + $600/mo.
+
How it works

Every night an AI reads your business's paper trail (Xero, inbox, calendar, job pipeline) and writes a one-page brief for 6am: what moved, what's overdue or going quiet, what needs a decision. Access is read-only everywhere by design: the brief tells you, you act.

In practice

We run this exact system on our own business every night. It has caught failed payments the morning they happened, unused subscriptions, expiring credentials, and work that ended with nothing written down. Boring things. Expensive things. One tier, no lock-in, cancel with a month's notice.

The shift is already here

Most businesses adopt AI when they're forced to. Move now, and you set the pace the rest spend years chasing.

And we don't just sell it. Tawhai Stand already runs on a team of AI agents we built, the same systems we would build to run yours.

My Story

The story
behind the Stand.

For ten years, I was out in the field working on the tools in the arboriculture industry, before stepping up and spending over five years as a Project Manager running those same operations. Alongside that, I spent another decade immersed in hospitality in every form imaginable: working as a hotel porter, bartender, cook, tour guide, and co-manager.

I know what it means to work hard, face-to-face with people, balancing safety, tight logistics, and client satisfaction.

But when I moved from working on the tools to project managing the jobs, I hit a brutal wall between the field and the office. I spent my days on the road doing site visits and quoting, missing critical phone calls and emails, only to sit at my desk at 6:00 PM spending hours trying to catch up on spreadsheets, duplicate data entry, and planning the upcoming week.

I thought I just had to "embrace the suck." I thought that was just the price you paid for managing crews from the cab of a ute.

It doesn't have to be that way.

I left that world to upskill, deep-diving into the rapid evolution of AI agents, LLMs, and workflow automation. What I discovered shook me: tasks that used to take me half a day of tedious administrative grinding can now be executed flawlessly in seconds by a trained digital workflow.

I founded Tawhai Stand because I wished someone had stepped in years ago to show me an easier way. Whether you are a corporate founder trying to break past a growth roadblock, a Project Manager drowning in spreadsheets, or a stay-at-home mum looking for a bespoke, personal app to help stay focused during the day and feel less isolated. if there is a part of your day that sucks, we are here to talk and build the system that fixes it.

Where the name comes from

What is a Tawhai Stand?

In New Zealand forests, the tawhai (beech tree) forms an interconnected ecosystem where separate trees share a root structure to balance weight, weather storms, and grow stronger together. A stand is the forester's word for a group of trees growing together as one community, so a tawhai stand is exactly that: many beeches, standing together, rooted as one.

As an arborist, the tawhai was always my favorite tree to work around. But it was driving through Fiordland National Park as a tour guide, seeing them in their absolute glory, that I was completely struck by their resilience and structure. We named our company after this system. Tawhai Stand represents modular, interconnected capability built to give your business that exact same long-term strength.
